Elliot, Kade and I popped into the shops today for a few bits and pieces, and while we were there we went to collect our HUGE competition photo of Kade. When we got there the lady said that there were two copies because they weren't happy with the first ones that were made. She also said that our shopping centre alone had over 5,000 entries, so to be one of 20 finalists was really good !
Elliot is now off work for [potentially] three months. For anyone who doesn't know, he has lost his licence for speeding *rolleyes*. He has told the agency that he used to get work through that he's wanting work local to our house, so they'll be keeping an eye out for him. With any luck he'll get something close enough for me to drive him to, or that he can catch public transport to. Failing that he'll be home to annoy me for 3 months !
Not much other news from here really. I had a quick play with the macro setting on my camera this morning. I just took some pics of the few flowers we have. If the photos are any good I'll post them here to show you.

Oh no! I hope he can find some work near you. My cousin lost her license for speeding tickets, and she has had a rough time getting to work. Luckily my aunt (her mom) gives her rides everywhere!
