Yesterday I got to go on a little outing to the LSS (Paperdoll) to take a class - yayyyyy !! It was SO good to be out-and-about without Kade, just having some 'me' time.
So anyway, I made four gorgeous cards, all designed by the equally gorgeous (and talented) Wendy Tresseder. We embossed using the cuttlebug; embroidered felt (my grandmother would be embarrassed by my effort, but at least I tried); and used pretty ribbons and flowers to create the following :
Pretty handcut felt flower, ribbons and cuttlebug embossed cardstock
Handcut felt flower featuring embroidered French Knots
Blanket-stitched felt circle, daffodil flower and handcut scalloped papers
Hand-drawn and handcut scalloped frame, embroidered frame and lazy daisy on cuttlebug cut felt
In other news...
HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY to my little brother Brendan, and HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY to our little neighbour, Taylah.
Also, my darling grandpa has been gone three years today.
{Grandpa, if you get the internet in Heaven...I miss you... xoxo}

Fantastic cards, I just love and prefer hand made cards rather than purchased ones, the certainly have more meaning anyhow, because it comes from the heart:)
