Busy day today

It was an early start this morning as Kade seems to be waking earlier and earlier lately.

I gave Kade his bottle and I made Toby's lunch and had a coffee. Then Kade and I had a shower and got dressed. After that it was time for some brekky and I checked my emails and stuff.

At 9:30 we headed out to the post office; to Dandenong so Elliot could pick up some parts; to Carrum Downs so Elliot could pick up some more parts and so we could pick up a chair (one of ours broke and we were collecting its replacement); then to the local shops to grab some cupcakes for morning tea because Elliot's mate Jim was coming to visit.

Once Jim left we headed up to the shopping centre to buy a few bits and pieces and then came home and had lunch, and I folded a couple of loads of laundry.

At 2pm Elliot headed outside to do some work, and Kade and I made some curtains for his cubby house. Kade went for a sleep at 2:30pm and I finished his curtains and hung them in his cubby. And now...here I am at 3:45pm having a little rest :)

No major plans for the weekend except for a trip to Melton tomorrow to see my Nanna & Poppa. Hopefully we'll also get to see my cousin Shirree and her new baby, Lily. It wont be a long day because I have to do all the driving, and I also have to work tomorrow night.

Toby had interschool sports today and came home with a medal and a ribbon, both second placings, the ribbon was for javelin and the medal was for shot put !! He loves his sport and is quite good at it. He went to Little Athletics for a year when he was little and was really good, particularly at discus. Sadly, when his dad and I separated I had to stop him going because his dad wouldn't take him regularly :(
