At Elliot's insistance (see copy of MSN conversation below) I believe I am supposed to update you all on the situation with his injury...

Not sure about the heroic thing...he's more like a big baby ! Took the butterfly clips off himself so the doctor wouldn't hurt him when he did it. He said he wasn't going to let the doctor touch him in case it hurt **eyeroll**
Well anyway....he went to the GP today, and the doc said he thinks he's stuffed his thumb good and proper. He booked him in to see a plastic surgeon on Monday and told him to expect to be put into hospital on Wednesday ! So...that's that then. Will keep you all updated as we know more.

Elliot : Oh, please dont bother everyone with such minor matters. It's really only a small near death experience with loss of limb with engulfing pain that only a mere mortal dare dream about.
