Last night we went to see David Gray in concert. This was the second time we have seen him live, and I think this show was better than the last. Elliot said he preferred the sound at the Palais Theatre (this concert was at Rod Laver Arena), but maybe that's because we were sitting in front of the stage last time, rather than at the side ??
I managed to make it through the whole show without a loo break, so I was quite proud of myself LOL. I tell you what though...people getting up and walking past was pissing me off ! Do you know how hard it is to swivel in your seat when you're as pregnant as I am to allow someone room to walk past ? Then, when we left, I almost fell down the stairs.
Anyway, as I said, the show was great. He played a good mix of songs from 'White Ladder', 'A New Day At Midnight' and 'Life In Slow Motion'. The second song he played was 'our' song, Sail Away, and I have to admit, it had me a little teary (awwwww). (click the link to open the video in Windows Media Player)
