Tragic Hairstyles

My workmate Dimmy and I were discussing all of the tragic hairstyles I've had over the years, and she asked that I bring some pics to show her. Instead, I thought I would just publicly humiliate myself by posting them here for you all to laugh at.

The mandatory bouffant, permed, 80's hairstyle !! (nice pic too)

I still don't know WHAT possessed me to create this little number, but here I am with the 80's bleach and perm, and ONE SIDE of my head shaved to a number 1 (my hair is actually due for a cut in this pic LOL) !!

This is my late 80's, early 90's look. This is actually my Year 11 school photo (second last year of high school for the Americans reading this). The hairstyle originally started as a crewcut that went from a number 1 at the back and graduated to a fringe about 1cm long. My boyfriend refused to speak to me for three days he was so devastated. We were often confused for eachother when approached from behind as he had beautiful blonde hair that went halfway down his back !! Nice jumper in this pic too don't you think ?

This is the longer version of the hairstyle in the pic above this one. Sadly, it's a bit difficult to see as my hair blends in with those beautiful curtains behind me. This haircut served me quite well for many years. When I was dancing (jive) I would brush it into a ducktail at the back and curl the fringe into a qoiffe.

The short version of the 80's perm -- yet another good look !! Toby doesn't look too sure about it, does he ??

This is how my hair was when Elliot first arrived from England in 2001. He HATES my hair as short as it is now, and I am trying to grow it long again. Check out those fingernails -- they were REAL, with no coating except for that fantastic bright pink nail polish !!

This is a straight version of the style above. The pic was taken on my 28th birthday -- look how skinny I am !

So there you go...an insight into just some of my bad hairstyles. I've also had the crimped hair, and the all-over braids with beads on the ends (my boyfriend did it so the plaits stuck out at odd angles LOL). Might I also add I have also had purple hair, plus every variant of red and copper, as well as violet and almost black ! When I go on maternity leave I plan on getting bright pink highlights -- just for a change...hehe.

Cindy! You look amazing with any hairstyle, and you just proved it! hehehe

I LOVE that last pic of you, you look like a supermodel! WOW!

I should find some of my pics of bad hair, or big hair LOL...

Why do guys like long hair so much anyhow? I know several men who freaked when I got my hair cut to donate the first time! Weirdos, the lot of them!

I must be stuck in that era because I LOVE these hair styles... (although the one where Toby looks like he's not sure, I'm not quite sure of either...lol) You are beautiful... inside & out. I don't think it matters what hairstyle or colour you have, you still are a beautiful person.

I'm only just starting to play with my hair... & you saw it IRL at my shortest ever (don't ever want to go back to that again, unless I lose a thousand pounds or will colour it as well!) I've wringletts happening in my hair just now... all on thier own! I like them. You'll see my hairdo's in my layouts as I proceed with my "me" album. Usually long & tied up... same ol' same ol' hair do... ... hmmm... a hair do layout... sounds' good.

Love you
