Scrapping

Well....LOADS has been happening for me scrap-wise this past week. I'm not sure whether I can share specifics just yet, but I have two projects to do for Fiskars which are very exciting for me. Lyn called me tonight to let me know that 'Better Homes & Gardens' have chosen the project I submitted for the advanced class to be taught at the Melbourne Quilt & Craft Fair next month (I'll show you if and when I am allowed to). And, of course, I'm still super excited about my Ambassador appointment too !

Julie at ScrappingJewels is about to put a DT kit in the post to me, and I have to create 3 LO's and some cards from that by the first week of July as well.

So...it looks like I'm going to be very busy for the next couple of weeks.

And speaking of scrapping, here is the layout I did today...

The pic is of Elliot's dad Chris, and I guess he was about 18-24 months old. I am going to journal on the right hand side when I have more details about the photo. I did most of the layout without a photo in mind and then found this one, which suits it PERFECTLY. I am really really pleased with how it turned out.

Papers are Foofala & MM Noteworthy. Also used paper flowers, Kaiser pearls, Provocraft Mon Petit metal sign, grungeboard painted with crackle paint then inked with opaque blue stazon and then inked with distress ink. I have also machine stitched some areas.

Happy scrapping !!

Congrats on your project being a CLASS!!!! Thats so so cool!!!

I've been drooling over the Fiskars website for awhile, and I wish I had the time to sign up to be a Fiskateer!

Oh well, maybe one day!

Love that layout . . . Chris looks a little like Kade, don't you think!?!

Great stuff Cindy! I am so proud & so happy for you with all your achievements. They couldn't have picked a better person to be ambassador. Your LO's are devine, & your crafts just gorgeous. I am sure you made the cake for Kade. He is growing so fast.
Well done on your winnings. The guitar looks boyish... Glad to hear Toby wouldn't have minded if it was pink...he, he, he.
Your hair is so long! Looks fabulous.
Show us a pic of you in your shoes... they're SO GORGEOUS! Hope they didn't hurt your feet. (I'd break my feet in to wear them)

Oh Cindy. That layouts is wonderful. If I ever scrap again, I may just come back here and copy it exactly so people will think I am cool ;)

How cool you are scrapping his dad's baby pic :)
