Birthday pics

Just a quick post and a few photos of our birthday boy.

Kade had a great day today ! He was up early, so I put him down for a late morning sleep in the hope that he would enjoy his party right till the end ~ and he did ! He was as good as gold all day and evening.

He received some fantastic presents, including money, new clothes, toys and a little Kade-sized lounge chair and ottoman. He had a special green dinosaur cake, and ate and drank WAYYY more junk than he's ever had in his whole life, but he had fun.

Here he is on the morning of his birthday playing with his toy carpark; blowing out the candles on his cake today; and jammin' with Toby.

Oh...and a couple of days ago he decided that he would start speaking French (Elliot's Dad and Stepmum live in France). He was pretending he was talking on the phone to various people and I suggested he 'call' Nanny and Grandad. I asked him what we say to Nanny and Grandad and he said "BONDOUR" (bonjour). We were stunned that he had remembered as it has been ages since we've said that to him. And the clever little thing even said it to Nanny and Grandad when he spoke to them last night for his birthday !
