Today I had to go down the street for some mayonnaise and sour cream.
I popped into NQR (my favourite shop) for a few tubs of lemongrass and garlic mussles ~ YUM ~ $2.54ea instead of almost $6 at the supermarket and was thrilled to discover that they're sprucing up the store ! I'll start going back there now instead of driving to Chelsea...
ANYWAY...they didn't have the sour cream or mayo, so I went to the IGA a few doors down. While I was there I bought 3 raffle tickets to support the Paralympics. The prize was 1 of 4 grocery hampers. Well...whaddaya know...a couple of hours later the store manager rang me to say I'd won ! WOO HOO
I got a laundry basket FULL of groceries !! I took a pic but will have to post it later because I'm about to head to work.
