Some scrapping I CAN show you !

This is going to be a long post, with lots of pics...so settle in !

Well, as you all know, I have been very busy lately with my scrapping. Here are a few things I've made with my DT kit from ScrappingJewels (a bit of a challenge too I must add !)

Layouts
I LOVE how this first layout turned out, especially given that the paper is SO bright ! The alphas are Heidi Grace 'Alpha Punchouts' that I painted to suit, and PD Originals. The white border is the Fiskars 'Threading Water' punch.

The second layout of Toby and his girlfriend, Shannen. The alphas for the title are Doodlebug which I also painted to suit. Yep..the 'Threading Water' punch features here too LOL.

Another layout using my DT kit. The alphas are Scrapworks, and this time I didn't paint them. I have punched the journalling block to replicate a pattern that is printed on the paper that the seahorse was cut from. I used my Fiskars spring hole punch/eyelet setters for this and it was really quick and easy to do (LOVE those setters !).

Cards
A cute card using the Bazzill 'Edge' cardstock, and a spinner card (the seahorse spins along the cream strip).

The kit can be purchased HERE for $24.95, and here's what's in it :

Fiskars scrapping...

I've done lots but most I still can't share. You may have already seen my project that we're teaching for the advanced class at the Melbourne Craft & Quilt Fair...if not, here it is :

Dawn Stan is teaching this class on the Thursday and Friday of the Fair, Lyn Dwyer is teaching it on the Saturday, and I will be teaching it on the Sunday.

Classes are at 12 noon and 3pm and cost $20 (kit included). Book at the Better Homes & Gardens stand.

Now...who wants to win something ?? This month we're celebrating 10 years of Fiskars in Australia and also the 1st birthday of our blog, and we're giving YOU the prizes ! Head on over to THIS post to win a Cloud 9 'Max's Backyard' page kit :

This pack includes 158 pieces including 6 double sided cardstock papers, 1 sheet of rain dots, 1 sheet of thought starter stickers and 1 sheet of chipboard shapes.

All you have to do is leave a comment with your name, country and a tradition or something special you love to do for your childs, family members or friends birthday.

Good luck !!

Ginny....Australia...we don't have many traditions...but for the last 21 years I have been doing "themed" birthdays for each of my 5 kids (up until they ask me not to..lol)...from the invitations, to decorations, cake and even costumes...along the years we've had pool parties, fairies, spooky, cowboy, thomas to name a few...and now I scrapbook..of course the page will match..lol
