Tonight we had Toby's mid term Parent / Teacher interviews (though they're now called Student Progress Meetings).
Anyway, almost every section of his progress report is marked as Very Good, and the few that are just Good or Satisfactory are only that because they are N/A fields.
All of his teachers were very complimentary of Toby's behaviour, attitude and academic ability. His Phyical Education and French teachers couldn't have given him a more glowing report. His French teacher said that she highly recommends that Toby choose French as an elective subject next year.
I was concerned that Toby's working might have negatively affected his school work, but it seems to have done just the opposite ! From all accounts, the responsibilty and initiative he has at work has transferred into his school work.
So...I am a proud mum today :D And yes, we have given him loads of praise for being such a superstar student LOL
