A fun FISKARS day !

Today was my Fiskars 'Make & Take' and we all had so much fun ! We made a desk caddy, card and notepad. I was inspired to hold the M&T when I received a parcel from Lyn containing a bunch of papers, rub-ons, stickers and ribbons that were leftover from the Melbourne Stitches & Craft show. I figured I couldn't use it all myself, and that it would be nice to share and have a scrappy day with my loved ones.

Thanks to Leanne, my 'other' mum Judy, my Mum & my sister Kim for coming. The girls all did a great job with their projects and have been inspired to make more 'stuff'. Judy and Kim both played with the Fiskars ShapeCutter tools and made a second card each. Kim seems to have developed an obsession with hers actually and we fear that anything not nailed down in her house may now be cut or edged ROFL.

Thanks to Fiskars Lead Ambassador Lyn for sending me the papers and other products that we used today.

Thanks to Elliot for occupying Kade so that we could play :)

And speaking of the Stitches & Craft show...the Brisbane event is April 30th to May 4th. Lyn, Dawn and some of the Brissy Fiskars Demonstrators will be conducting FREE Make'n'takes using some of the new Cloud 9 Sorbet Villa range. Look for the GARDEN SHED in the Living Creatively area and pop in and say 'hi' to the girls.

Details of the show as follows :

Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre
Corner of Merivale and Glenelg Streets
South Bank, QUEENSLAND
Open Daily from 10 am to 5 pm
April 30 - May 4 2008
