Been scrappin' !!

This morning I had to take Elliot to work (he started at 6am), and when I got home I decided that even though I've only had about 10 minutes sleep over the past two nights, it wasn't worth going back to bed. Every singe time I've tried to steal a daytime nap someone telephones; knocks on the door; or decides to mow their lawns.
So....I crept past Kade's room to my scraproom and got busy in there. Here's what I made :

Misc textured cardstock, Basic Grey patterned paper, yellow swirl paper (unknown), canvas paper, paper & silk flowers, Beutron button, Colorbox fluid chalk ink, Zig marker, Ranger Distress Ink, 'Happy Birthday' stamp own design and made using ImagePac stamp making system

This card design is a scraplift of a card I made in class at PaperDoll last week. Original design by the ever-talented Wendy Tresseder.

---------------------------

Misc cream and pink cardstock, glitter cardstock from DCWV mat stack, scallops made using EK Success scallop punch, misc pink ribbon, Boutique orange ribbon (from Big W), paper flowers, Scrapworks Colour Rubz rub-ons, dimensional magic

---------------------------

Bazzill cardstock, Colorbok "Little People" paper, Boutique ribbon (from Big W), paper flowers, zig marker, flower center own design

---------------------------

And this afternoon I made this rose (yes, it IS meant to be a rose !) from coffee filters. Given that I can't view the demonstration video I don't think I did too badly for a first attempt. The center petals need to be higher, and I need to use BLEACHED coffee filters LOL. Hopefully the next one will be more rose-like !

This is one that was made by someone with a little more experience than me.

And if you're interested in having a go, the instructions can be found HERE
