Well, the customised birthday beer went down a treat ! Elliot (and everyone else who saw/sampled it) was well impressed. The beer is really good ~ even I'd drink it, and I can't stand beer.
We had orginally planned to go out for dinner to celebrate the boy's big 35 but decided to order in Chinese instead knowing that it would be easier to fit in with Kade. So Elliot's best mates Gary and Jim, and Gary's wife and kids, and our friend Ali all came over for dinner and drinks.
It turned out to be a good move as I woke up yesterday with a severe case of dizziness. I managed to get a doctor appointment for early evening, and it turns out I have fluid in my ear. I have some tablets to take, but they haven't fixed the problem as yet as I still get dizzy if I look up or down. Obviously, I can't go to work, so I'm having the night off.
Kade helped me make Daddy's birthday card and had lots of fun fingerpainting (click on any of the pics to have them open bigger in a new window)...

Sorry to hear about your dizzy spells. I get something similar to that every now and then, it's so awful, makes you feel sea sick. Hope you feel better soon.

This is the 2nd time today I've left you a message I don't know what happened to the first DOH!!.
Anyhoo I just wanted to drop by and say hello as I don't get to catch up very often. Hope the tablets kick in soon and that you will be feeling better quickly. Kades photos are just gorgeous I particularly like the ones of him enjoying cherries for the first time they are fabulous. We've just been watching videos of Madeleine when she was One year old. OMG how time flies it really does seem like just yesterday. Its cliched but they really do grow up way to quickly.
