New Baby
Cindy went into labour this evening (3 days early). Contractions were a bit erratic but when they came down to 4 or 5 minutes we called the hospital and they asked us to go down. The car was packed in about 2.5 seconds flat and we were on our way. Cindy decided to let the waters flow half way there in the car. Lucky we thought to fit plastic seat covers and a towel a day or so ago...(just in time). We arrived at the delivery ward at about 11:30pm. Contractions intensified, but Cindy went without any painkillers or gas... she barely raised a scream, though she did swear the once....(I'm sure she'll pop down to confession tomorrow) and baby Kade was born at half past midnight. It was all over so quick I was quite shocked. Kade weighed 8 Lbs 1.5ounces, is 53Cm long, has almost a full head of hair and monster sized hands for some reason...maybe he will become a boxer when he grows up ?

CONGRATULATIONS Cindy, Elliot & Toby!! A big high-five to Cindy and Kade for the effort. In the hospital and here comes Kade an hour later!! Woah, is that some kind of record!? The other record must be how fast the post came on the blog! I don't think anyone has ever sent pics that fast! He's gorgeous! :) Sounds like you'll have a fast homecoming as well.
