All's well...

No major news to report really, so just a little update on things here...

Our blog seemed to have had a bit of a kniption fit yesterday and today, but it seems to be fine again now. Apologies if you tried to visit and got a blank screen.

Kade is doing really well and is still the most beautiful baby in the whole, wide world ! We will post some more pics when we get some decent ones. It's kinda hard knowing what to post here because he really doesn't do anything much other than lay around hehe. We have been waking and feeding him three-hourly through the day and letting him sleep at night. He generally goes four hours between night feeds, though last night he slept for six. He is very alert through the day and will happily lay in his rocker and look around for up to two hours.

Kade and I have been doing a bit of baking lately. Well, I have...he keeps falling asleep ! The other day we made cupcakes with pink icing and sprinkles and cherries on the top. I was gonna take a pic to show you all, but we ate them before I got a chance. Today we made coconut jam slice...I imagine that too will only last a couple of days.

Elliot had a hand therapy appointment yesterday and they cleared him to return to work on Monday (assuming we receive the clearance certificate in the mail on time). It will be strange not having him home anymore, and Kade and I will really miss him. I hope that Kade continues to be good and not wake Daddy up too often through the night. He's pretty good, he tends to feed at around 10pm, then 2pm, then 6pm (or thereabouts). Sometimes he sleeps longer. I think Elliot stirs when Kade wakes, but its only a matter of minutes before he is snoring again and I am struggling to keep my eyes open while I feed Kade.

We have had lots of visitors over the past couple of weeks (thank you to you all), and today we had my mum visit. Then, this afternoon Will, Matisse and Charlotte came to visit as well. Gosh, Miss Charlotte has grown ! Even though she is nine weeks old, Kade's hands are bigger than Charlotte's.

Tomorrow I plan on going to Paperdoll (the local scrapbook shop and my second home) for coffee morning. The girls haven't met Kade yet, so I am sure he will be quite popular. I have really missed my weekly visits to the shop so I am looking forward to seeing everyone.

On Friday night we are going to Amber & Andrew's house for a "Little Britain" party. We are still yet to organise our costumes, and Elliot hasn't even decided who he is going to go as yet. For those of you who haven't seen it, Little Britain is an English sketch comedy program. The party is a costume party and we are supposed to go as characters from the show.

Well...that's about it from us for now. I hope this finds you all well. Stay tuned for another update soon !

And the coconut jam slice was very yummy! I'll have that receipe thanks!! And it wouldn't last a single DAY in our house, so a couple of days is pretty good IMHO!

Kade looks so cool in his Tracksuit! YEY!
