We just got home from seeing Dirty Dancing (Elliot bought me the tickets for Valentine's Day) at the Princess Theatre in Melbourne, and it was great ! We drove in yesterday and stayed overnight at the Shoan Heights hotel in Little Bourke Street. This morning we wandered around the city for a while and had breakfast at a little cafe. We also bought Toby a couple of Harry Potter books, and I bought some cute little Guatamalan Worry Dolls.
The show started at 1:00pm. Our seats were the furthest right in the second row, which was good, because it meant Elliot could actually see what was going on hehe ! The only thing that I wasn't thrilled with in the show was the American accents (but I hate fake accents LOL). Kim Valentine (Libby from Neighbours) was supposed to play the role of Baby, but her role was filled by the understudy today.
I bought a programme, and Elliot bought me a t-shirt, which was sweet. I dare say we'll go and rent the DVD again now...hehe.

Too true Daune, our lingo would bring the movie down... but Austalian's trying to talk American, stupid. It's like Meryl Streep trying to talk Australian, how daft was THAT!
