Had to share this...
This evening Kade randomly said to me, "dawbee waywah". Though he says it differently, I initially thought he was saying something about Toby. I kept asking him "Toby what ?", but he kept repeating "dawbee waywah". And so this is how our conversation went :
Kade : dawbee waywah
Me : {silence....thinking....}
Kade : dawbee waywah
Me : {silence....still thinking....}
Kade : dawbee waywah
Me : ohhhh, strawberry flavour ?
Kade : yes
Me :strawberry flavour what ?
Kade : dawbee waywah peas
Me : strawberry flavour what sweetie ?
Kade : dawbee waywah bitty peas
Me : {laughing at the 'pretty please'} strawberry flavour what ? milk ?
Kade : yes peas, bitty peas
So while it may take us a few minutes to figure out what on earth he's talking about, at least the child has manners !! LOL And for the record, he didn't actually get his dawbee waywah milk, but he did get naanaa waywah instead.
