Not much happening here lately...though the weeks are sure flying by ! {Vesna, if you're reading this, I haven't forgotten you love, I just seem to have lost all track of time}
Mother's Day was pretty uneventful, as usual. I made the morning coffee...and the afternoon coffee. For those who care to know, my gift was a STAPLER ! Yes dear readers...a stapler. Now admittedly, it has a bit of pink on it, and it has sparkly rhinestones, but in all honesty it is really quite hideous and I have NO CLUE what in Heaven possessed Elliot to buy it. I very nearly cried. The card was lovely though :) And Elliot did think to buy me a tub of seafood salad when he bought the charcoal chicken we had for lunch, so some redemption there LOL.
Toby bought me a cute card that says something like "You're one in a million" inside, but my sweet big boy wrote "(more like a billion)", so that too almost made me cry. He bought me a block of Top Deck chocolate - SOOOOO much better than a stapler LOL.
Kade must be growing. Last night (Monday) he told us several times that he wanted to go to bed an hour-and-a-half earlier than usual. He then slept soundly for 13 hours ! Tonight he went to bed at least an hour early again, and today he told me when it was nap time.
Tomorrow Leanne and I are hoping to make some more polymer stamps. It's been a while since we made any. My only problem is deciding what to make. I have two designs printed, so it'll be at least one of those two.
Thursday is going to be an exciting day. I have to go to Port Melbourne for a casting call for a tv commercial. Toby may or may not come with me, though they want him for the ad as well. All I know {and probably all I can say} is that it will be an advertisement for breakfast cereal. If we are chosen, filming will be next week.
While I am in Port Melbourne I am going to take the opportunity to pop in and see everyone at Fiskars head office. Toby has almost finished the project he is doing with a new range of {as yet unreleased in Australia} scrapbook papers and embellishments, so we'll take that along to show off too.
I hope this week finds you all well.
*hugs*

Oh, I'm so sorry about the stapler! Last year I didn't get anything, except hand made cards from the girls. Which was fine, but rather disappointing, kwim?
HOW COOL that you will be in a commercial! My cousins were in a breakfast cereal commercial that did not run here, and I would have loved to see it. Maybe you can put yours on youtube so I can see it! :)
I hear you with mothers day.... I got 2 pairs of flannie PJ's...that I bought myself 2 weeks before!!! Oh well...:)
All the best for the commercial!
I got a cupcake box set which I knew about but Sean gave me Lindor Balls at dinner - YUM.
Hope Thursday goes well and you get picked. I worked in the industry for more years than I care to remember!
You can always detour via St Kilda for coffee!

Hi Cindy,
A stapler! hmmmm
I got a pair of nickers for my birthday this year, so I didn't take any chances with Mother's day and bought my own presents. Harry made me a card and he sewed me a little bolster cushion made from a tea towel that he tie dyed at school. sweet!
Chelsea didn't bother to make me a card, but she is usually very generous and thoughtful, so I let her off the hook this time.
Good luck with the commercial...how exciting!

Good luck with the commercial, how cool would that be!
Hi Cindy,
I have also been very busy in the last week. Hoping to get back to my normallity this week. Just give me a ring when you are free and we will catch up for that coffee.
Good luck with the cereal ad.
