Well, I don't often blog about Toby, but this post is about him ! There isn't any particular reason WHY I don't blog about him, other than he is a typical teenager who doesn't say much about anything, and never seems to be around when I get the camera out {maybe he's learned the perils of being a scrapper's son ? mwahahahaha}
So anyway... I went into his room this afternoon to look on his desk for a pencil sharpener, and while I didn't find one of those, I did find TWO award certificates from LAST YEAR !

It seems that at the end of the year (certificates are dated December 2007) he was awarded a certificate for Academic Endeavour in both Information Technology and Classroom Music...and he never told us !!!!
He is at his dad's for a week now, so I called him straight away to congratulate him and ask him why he didn't tell me, and he was all matter-of-fact about it and said that it wasn't a big deal.
I think I will have to make him some celebration cupcakes when he comes home :)
So Toby... CONGRATULATIONS on your awards ~ they ARE a big deal to me, and I am very proud of you !!
