After a crap night's sleep I was woken quite early by some text messages from some dear friends - thank you Caron, Ali & Riccale *mwah*
Then a truck in the street made sure I was quite awake...and once it was certain I was, it drove away Grrrr.
I headed to the kitchen to be greeted with this ;
Mmmm...croissants (which I spread with strawberry jam & whipped cream); fresh strawberries & chocolates YUM. Elliot also tried to make melted chocolate to drizzle on it, but ended up with 'gunge' which went straight into the bin. He scores points for tying anyway :)
Birthday phone calls followed - thanks everyone !
Then my gorgeous friend Leanne came over and brought me a hummingbird cake that she had made, and my presents; flowers, a glass chopping board with cupcakes on it; a mug with cupcakes on it; some cow bookmarks; some eyeshadow and some moisturiser. Oh, and a tub to store my vinyl sheets {for my craft robo} in.
Mum then came over and brought me a lovely PINK watch and necklace, and a card that she had made.
At 12:15pm we headed off for lunch...
Kade quite enjoyed sharing Lala's (Leanne's) dessert LOL.
I skipped dinner {which might be why the wine has made me so wobbly so quickly} but my sister Kim, Elliot, Toby and Kade enjoyed their Hungry Jacks...
So that was that. Birthday over. Oh, and Elliot and the kids gave me a digital photography book, which is ace ! I think Elliot also bought me some Nestablilities dies for my Cuttlebug :D Toby bought me a block of chocolate on his way home from school, SUCH a cool kid my DS1 ~ LOVE him to pieces :)
And while I think of it, Kade and I had a little photo shoot yesterday:
