Well, we had a great day today. Lunch at my mum's was really good. Sadly, my brother and SIL couldn't make it as my brother's back was paining him (he had spine surgery a few weeks ago).
We all fared very well with gifts, here are just a few of the things we received...
Elliot bought me a digital video camera and a bottle of Britney Spears "Fantasty" perfume (the box and the bottle alone are something to get excited about ROFL). Hopefully I can work out how to use the video camera fairly quickly so we can get some video of Kade to his grandparents.
I also got a GORGEOUS Sugar Plum Feather Fairy (from Elliot's mum). I haven't taken a pic of her yet, but I will, because she's really cute. From my mum we got some much-needed new tea towels and bath mat. My sister & her partner bought us a lazy susan for the dining table, a Cadbury hot chocolate kit and some cute slipper-socks.
I bought Elliot tickets to the stage show, Monty Python's "Spamalot"; The Eagles new CD; a couple of tshirts and a novelty candy grabber :
The kids did well, Kade especially. Amongst other things, he received some lovely new clothes, money, a play kitchen and a new trike :
Toby got a new mobile phone, shoes and necklace from us; money, an XBox 360, a "The Golden Compass" book; movie tickets and a 10-pin bowling double pass.
I hope Santa (and your friends and family) were as kind to you and that you all had a great day !
I'm about to make a few phone calls and then settle down with a drink or two before bed.
