Well, I think I have done very well this year with making so many Christmas gifts. I can't post pics of some of them yet because the recipents are yet to open them , but I can share pics of the things I made for the girls at work (click on link and pictures to have them open in a new window).
These are little notebooks that I made for the younger girls. They are about 10cm long and 7.5cm wide (ish) and are all made from scraps of chipboard, cardstock and notepaper. Even the plastic binding coils were scraps from other projects. The pens cost me $2.50 for a packet of 6, so I've literally made the gifts for next-to-nothing. The cover opens to the left and reveals a little bound notepad. I actually made one more late last night because I realised when wrapping the last one that I had forgotten one of the girls *oops* ~ thankfully I remembered NOW and not as they were all opening them !!
This is a shopping list notebook. I bought a pack of 6 notepads then pulled all the pages off and punched them for binding; made a cover and added a pen.
And finally...this is a book of affirmations for my female boss. She is going through a really tough time personally at the moment and I thought this might help. All of the images are digital elements from the Rhonna Farrer 'Color My World' free digital scrapbooking kit at twopeasinabucket. The bling is stickles and rhinestones. There are four pages of affirmations in total.
