Ugh !

Why is it that when men are sick; they are dying ? And why is it that they are much worse than anyone else ?

On Sunday Elliot developed the wonderful tummy bug that Kade and I had. The only difference was that he was *much* sicker than we had been. He was at least twice as sooky as Kade, and of course, he was sick for 48 hours, whereas we were only sick for 24.

I spent Sunday nursing him, and Monday listening to his groans. I assured him that I knew exactly how he felt as I had had it a week ago. He was sure that I didn't have it as bad because I "still did everything". (Yes Dear...that's my point !!) *rolleyes*

A belated official "CONGRATULATIONS" to my cousin Shirree and her partner Kerry on the birth of their daughter, Lily on 23rd August.

I was lucky enough to get to visit and take a few photos while they were still in hospital. Lily is absolutely gorgeous, and Kerry is a very proud first-time daddy. I am making them a special gift, so I'll post pics of that when it's done :)

I forgot to show you... I went for lunch with the girls a couple of weeks ago. We went to Sophia's in Frankston and I ordered the flounder & veg. I was a little miffed at the price of $18, until I got my meal...

OMG - it was HUGE !! It was REALLY REALLY good though, and I'd have no hesitation in ordering it again.

All the meals were way more than anyone could eat in one sitting, but because they are also take-away, you can take a doggie-bag of your leftovers home with you. I ate all my fish but took home most of the veggies.

So for anyone in the local area, I definately recommend Sophia's for a meal ! (they are just near the pier).

Sophia's is great value - just don't ever order a main size pasta unless you wan to feed the family!
