Yay me...I had a job 'interview' today at a local fish & chip shop, and I have to go in at 5:30pm tomorrow for a trial. SO funny...I haven't worked at a fish & chip shop since I was about 17.

The prices have doubled, but I don't have to remember how much everything costs this time around because it's all pre-programmed into the cash register. I'm a little nervous that I'll stuff it up, but really, it can't be that hard - right ? And I have done it before...and I do cook for my family every night...I'll be right LOL

My hours will be 5:30pm to 8:30pm so Elliot will be home to take care of Kade, and it's only 10 minutes up the road, so I won't have to drive far. Fingers crossed I get the job so I can have some pocket money to spend :)

I worked 5:30pm till 7pm because it wasn't very busy...but they asked me to come back tomorrow night :)

Did another 2 hours tonight (Thursday) and my boss said he is happy with me and that he'll call me on the weekend with my hours once he's worked out the roster. It's great because it's only 10 mins up the road; is only a few hours at any one time; and is early evening so Elliot can take care of Kade.
