Well, we went and saw the plastic surgen today. She said Elliot has definately cut a tendon in his hand/thumb, and has him booked for day-surgery on Wednesday. He isn't allowed to eat or drink ANYTHING after 7am on Wednesday morning, and I have to have him at the hospital at 11am (or maybe it's 11:30am ??). I think I will get up super early and cook him a big brekky to keep him going. The surgery itself will take place in the afternoon.
He was fitted for a plastic splint today (similar to the one Toby had when he injured his hand) and has to wear that till he goes in. After the surgery he will either have a plaster cast for 6-8 weeks, or he may be allowed to just wear the splint.
Once again, I will keep our blog updated with any news.
