Little update...

No news really, just a little update.

Firstly, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Pauline. No, we didn't forget this year, though I will admit to being slack and not sending you a card yet. I DID buy you a present, so I'll pop it in the mail next week for you. We figured there was no point sending it yet seeing as you are not at home.

Went to the midwife yesterday. Bubba has even MORE of a girly heartbeat ! LOL Yesterday it was 152bpm. I had a look back through my records and it has never actually been in the 'boy' range.

It looks as though I am suffering from carpal tunnel in my right wrist. It's probably a combination of having had a broken wrist, typing a lot in my job, and being pregnant. She said it should go away once baby is born. It's not too bad, not really any pain, just the numbness / pins-and-needles.

I am still experiencing lots of cervical jabs which are quite uncomfortable, and they seem to be getting more frequent. I (like everyone else) still don't think I have more than a couple of weeks to go. The baby's head wasn't engaged yesterday when the midwife checked, however, she did say that she could feel the baby's back on one side...and then on the other !! I said PLEASE don't tell us there are TWO in there !!!

Elliot's hand is giving him a bit of pain this morning. He probably just knocked it in his sleep or something, but we'll keep an eye on it anyway. We've been quite busy this week doing a long-overdue Spring clean, so maybe he just overdid it a bit ?

Elliot's mum Sandra sent me a big envelope last week full of photos of Elliot as a baby and as a little boy. As a scrapper, that is probably the best gift I could ever have received ! When Bubba is born it will be interesting to compare photos of the three of us and see who he looks most like (I'm guessing it will be Elliot).

Anyway, that's enough garble for now. I better go get myself organised as we have a lot happening today... Have a good weekend everyone !
