Having received the gorgeous new 'My Funny Valentine' squeeze punch just in time for Valetine's Day, I thought it only natural to create a Valentine's Day card with it. With some gorgeous paper (and I just used a scrap I had leftover from another project) and a few fabulous Fiskars tools, I was able to quickly and easily produce this lovely card.

My Funny Valentine punch Choc Chalet card 1

I've used some of the beautiful Cloud 9 'Chocolate Chalet' embossed paper and cardstock alphas on a pink cardstock card base. I cut the circle from the paper using my Ultra ShapeXpress, then punched the heart from the My Funny Valentine squeeze punch from the left over circle.

I punched two borders from white cardstock with my Threading Water border punch and tucked them under the edge of the patterned paper so that just the edges of the scallops show through.

I raised the patterned paper and the heart with some 3D foam tape for dimension, then coated [the unpatterned side of] the heart with some Dimensional Magic to give it some gloss and tie it in with the glossy accents of the paper. Cloud 9 cardstock alphas complete the card.
