News of the week...

Not a lot happening here lately, but I have been pretty busy !

But first...Kade no longer has a dummy !! He only ever had it for sleep time and emergency pacifying, but if I'd let him I'm sure he'd have walked around with it in his gob till he was 80 ! So...last week he randomly decided he was going to throw it in the bin. I told him several times that if he did, he'd never get it back, but he was determined. So, in it went (and out it came secretly 'just in case'). Every night since he has gone to bed and asked just once for it, and every time I've reminded him that he threw it in the bin. He then remembers that he's a "big boy" and that's the end of it ! No tantrums, no crying...nothing.

Anyway...back to scrapping...

I've had a special rush-project that I had to do for Fiskars for display at the Officeworks Expo in Sydney today. I had to use tools that are available at Officeworks, and by the time I received them all in two separate parcels I only had about a week to get it done. Here is what I made (less a gift tag that I didn't take pics of) :

2009 Calendar & matching Matchbook Notpad
I used papers and embellishments from the Heidi Grace "Only Time" range. The border punch is called 'Elegance', I also stamped the bottom each page in the notepad with an acrylic border stamp.

Party Favours
First one is made from a re-used embellishment container. The border punch is called 'Sunburst'. The scallops on the sour cream container party favour were made by punching a series of "holes" in pink and blue cardstock with a hand punch, then attaching the punched "holes" around the edge of a circle of white cardstock punched with the "round'n'round" sqeeze punch. Papers and rub-ons are from the Heidi Grace "Baby" range.

Baby card and vellum envelope
The flap of the envelope and the outer white border on the card were punched with the 'Lace' border punch. The artisan on the card was hand drawn and hand cut. The patterned paper and chipboard letter and heart are from the Heidi Grace 'Baby' range. The blue bazzill on the card was punched at regular intervals with a hand punch to achieve the postage-stamp look.

I've also been a very busy girl CLEANING up my scraproom !! I spent about 4 hours yesterday on it. I've not finished yet, but it's mostly done :) Kade has managed to lose my new circle squeeze punch and I have no idea where it's gone.

And last but not least...if you've not already entered, there's BLOG CANDY up for offer {here} .
