My brother Brendan went in for spine surgery yesterday. As far as I know everything went well. Hopefully this will be the end of all his pain. Get well soon Bren !!
Toby went for a try-out at work last night. He will be working at the fish & chip shop too ! His first night will be Friday, and I'm sure he'll be fine. I think the responsibility will do him good, and the cash in his pocket will be handy for him. I really hope that his father doesn't stuff this up for him like he did with his karate. He's already whinging that he'd "rather have Toby at his house when he's supposed to be there" but the tosser won't do his bit and drive the kid to work or pick him up, so the only other option is for Toby to stay here the nights he works. I'll certainly be having my say when he decides at Christmas time that he's taking Toby away during the week he is supposed to be with us !
Kade had his Santa photo taken earlier this week. We were in Frankston and thought we'd say hello to Santa to see what Kade's reaction would be. He was fine, but when we decided we'd get his picture taken he didn't want to sit on Santa's knee. Needless to say, Daddy and Mummy are in the photo too *rolleyes* The girl took about 8 photos (trying to get one where Kade was smiling and/or looking at the camera), and they were printed on the spot ! No grumpy Santa like last year - thank Heavens. I've not had a chance to scan the pic yet to show you, but I will...
No scrapping happening at the moment :( I have some Christmas gifts that I REALLY need to get finished...maybe this weekend...
Hope you're all well.

Oh good answer. You are so clever :) Congrats!
I hope Toby enjoys his first job. I loved working at mine (Mickey D's)
That is such a shame about his dad. You'd think he'd want to help out instead of being such a pain.
