Busy week !

We've had quite a busy week this week. On Sunday Kade and I went to Maddie's Christening. That morning didn't start too well. Kade fell off the bed and hurt his nose. He is okay, and it looks worse than it really is, but I still felt like the worst mother in the world :(

Here is a pic of Maddie, Kade & Chloe at Maddie's Christening after-party.

On Tuesday we had Mother's Group. Sadly, Sarah and Daniel and Tanya and Kaden couldn't make it, but the rest of us had a good time. The weather was hot that day so we met a Jodie's and set Chloe's little pool up for the kids.

Tuesday night we went and picked up our latest eBay purchase - a playpen for Kade. While I hate the thought of having him 'locked up' we really don't have much choice. Since he started crawling and standing I have spent my days chasing after him to make sure he doesn't get into anything or hurt himself (we can't put gates up). It's too hard to try to do housework, rest, and care for him when my whole day is spent chasing after him.

Here is a pic I just took :

Wednesday 'Mums & Bubs' gym class started back. I took Kade's playpen for him to sit in, but he had a horrid day and didn't really do much other than whinge. I think he is suffering again with colic, though I have no idea why. He has had a few screaming fits, so after half an hour I gave him some colic medicine and out came some big burps !

Toby comes home this afternoon and I am looking forward to seeing him and hearing about his first week at school.
Anyway...better go...Kade has almost finished his toast. Hope this finds you all well.

whoo hoo about the playpen - a gal after my own heart. You can't have your cake and eat it too I say - so I got the portacot out today so I could get some peace and mop the floor LOL.

Hope the first week went ok for Toby.

PS want rain? we have had enough of the stuff :(

I personally don't care for rain Rach, but it'd be nice if you could drop some off to those who do want it ! :)

Bargain play pen too - $51 and it wasn't far to go pick it up :)

Good for you with the portacot.

what a little cutie he is :)

:-( to the colic, nasty my DS suffered with that. Although the doctor told me 'there is no such thing!'

Don't you just wish you could pass your child to these people so that they can put up with the 3-hour screaming fits that are (according to them) figments of your imagination !

Awww lookit the three lil cuties! Poor nosey. I hope he heals fast :)

I had a "cage" for my kids, but we never seemed to use it much after we bought it! :-D

Ok please don't laugh but I'm trying to understand what is colic, exactly.

Love the photos, such cuties, all of them!!

Totally unrelated but I'm trying to figure out how those laser cuts work?
