Not a lot of news from here so just a quick update.
Elliot worked yesterday and is working again today. I hate that he is doing such long hours, 7 days a week, but he says we need the money... Today his best mate Gary and my brother Brendan are also working, so they've carpooled and are keeping eachother company for the long drive.
I just worked out how much Toby's school fees etc are for next year *faint*. The uniforms alone are worth a small fortune ! How on earth can they charge $69 for ONE windcheater (sweatshirt) ?? I wouldn't pay that much for a windcheater I LIKED, but we don't have much choice. I am so glad we can share the cost of his school fees, books and camp with his dad.
Yesterday Kade and I went down to Cube37 (at Frankston Arts Centre) to the Affordable Art & Literature Fair. We went because Judy had a stall there to sell her children's book "JT Bear meets Cecil the seahorse" (if you don't know who Judy is, she is - for want of an easier explanation - my ex mother-in-law). I was the one who actually told her about the event so it was only right that I should go down there.
Judy did a reading from the book, which she dedicated to Kade, and I was so pleased that we were able to be there to support her. Kade was SO well behaved and truly seemed interested in listening to the poems and stories. He sat for about an hour (through all the readings) without making a sound, but began to grizzle a bit when the final reading started, so we excused ourselves and went and had a look at the other stalls.
Friday night was Cyber Crop night at The Craft Attic. I was FINALLY able to "attend", thanks to my laptop ! I have even started one of the challenges, and hope to get some more done if/when Kade goes down for a nap this afternoon. At the moment he is sitting next to me, scratching his fingers on the palmrest area of my laptop.
Oh...to our parents...I have printed some more photos for you and plan on getting them in the post to you this week. Willisa, I also have some pics of Kade & Charlotte for you :)
Okay, well that's it from us for now. Keep well :)

Hooray for Judy!!! I'm so glad it went so well!! I'm telling you Kade is a geninus! Thats why he was so happy to sit there, absorbing it all in, and plotting all the stories he's going to write when he's big!!
And Yay for photos!
And thank you for adding that ticker to remind me how little time I have left to do so much!! ;)
How awesome that Judy dedicated it to Kade!
And wonderful that you are getting to scrapbook too! :)
