The weather here has been DISGUSTINGLY hot ! Yesterday (Oz Day) was 40ish degrees, and today was 34. The forecast for the next few days is also for hot weather. This house is BAD for retaining heat (especially the back end of the house), and because we don't have airconditioning, the inside temp can actually be hotter than it is outside !
My boss gave me today off, which was nice, so a 4-day weekend for me. Unfortunately, Elliot has had to work both days, and now also has to work tomorrow too !
I didn't do much today or yesterday. I kinda hid from the housework a bit too, even though I could hear it calling "Cinnnnnddyyyyy.....Cinnnnnddyyyyy". I figure 34 degrees celcius and pregnant ladies don't mix well, so I just vegged. Luckily my feet haven't swollen up too much (yet).
Toby and I went to Macca's for lunch and I got to have the cheeseburgers I was craving so badly last night -- YUUUMMMM. We also went to visit mum and took lamingtons (purely because of Australia Day and all ! ;) LOL ).
Just after Elliot got home the sky opened up and it poured rain for about half an hour or so. The guttering overflowed and the street was flooded. Toby spent the afternoon dancing in the pouring rain -- I got some pics of that to scrap.
Kim (my sis) and Ali (sister-like-friend) came and collected Toby for the night, so now me and Elliot are just bumming around, checking emails and stuff.
Toby goes back to school on Tuesday. It's hard to believe my baby is in grade 6 -- the final year of primary school !! It's amazing how fast the years have flown by. While it seems like he was a toddler just last week, I look at him and he is almost a young man. He is going to seem even bigger to me when the new baby is born.
Speaking of Bubba -- I felt him/her moving from the outside for the first time the other day. Elliot is scared and doesn't want to feel it, he says its creepy. Toby tried to feel the other day but, as is always the way, the baby stopped moving as soon as Toby put his hand on my belly. I suppose he will have to wait till its a bit more obvious. And if Elliot thinks teeny tiny movements are creepy, wait till he sees my whole belly move when the baby rolls over ! ROFL

Glad yo got to fulfil your craving!!! that is always good. And definitely ignore the house work in the heat! I LOVe it when you can see kicks and rolls on your belly from the baby!!! Just LOVE it! :) :) :)
Glad you didnt decide to tackle that housework girl!! Hopefully the weekend will be cooler for ya.
