Yayyyy...on holidays !!

Well, I am SO excited that I am finally on vacation from work -- for 3.5 weeks !! I haven't had a break since this time last year, and with being sick with this pregnancy for so long now, I am really needing the time off. Today is my first day off and I have a doctor appointment (to get a referral for the next ultrasound), will have lunch with mum, and am getting my hair done. Sadly, Elliot won't have any time off other than the main days. It would have been nice to have a week off together before I am too fat to do anything, and before Bubba arrives.

Speaking of Bubba, all is going well and he/she doesn't seem to have been too affected by my illness last Monday. As if all-day morning sickness isn't bad enough, I had to go get some 24-hour bug that knocked me for six (Toby got it too -- poor kid) !. It only lasted the 24-hours thankfully, and we were better the next day.

Last weekend Elliot and I (okay, I really only supervised) laid bamboo flooring in our bathroom. Our friends Amber and Andrew had some leftover from their house, which they sold to us cheaply, and it was more than enough for our bathroom floor. It looks AWESOME and we will post some before & after pics soon (when we decorate the room a bit). One wall in the bathroom is like a dark-chocolate colour, the vanity is a similar colour, and the blinds are timber venetians. The room has a lovely warm feel to it, and we have decided to decorate it in an Asian/Bali-style theme (Sylvie, I might have to look at pics of your beautiful house again for some inspiration).

Well, gotta run...apparently I am about to miss coffee morning at the local scrapbook shop ! LOL Will be back within the next few days for another update.
