Earlier this week I applied to be on the design team* for a scrapbook store. After telling my lovely friend Tam, she mentioned that the team she is one may also be looking for another member and offered to find out for me (I said yes hehe). Well, the next day, Tam emailed me to say that Debra (the store owner) would like to have me on board. I sent off an email to Debra, and the next day she replied with the official welcome !
So... I am now officially a proud design team member for The Craft Attic in Brisbane. I haven't heard yet whether the original store I applied to have accpeted my application, but I don't really care hehe. Update 24/07/05: The other place emailed me and said that I was unsuccessful, but they think I do beautiful work and want to keep my details on file... I am quite happy about that because it means I can really devote my time to The Craft Attic now :)
*A design team works with a scrapbooking store to create layouts using the store's products. Team members don't get paid as such, but usually receive a store discount, and also recive kits regularly to create layouts and other items that will be displayed to show other customers what can be acheived with the products used.
