Today Toby went off to school camp. He left with all his classmates from one of the local train stations, and headed off by train into the city. He'll spend the next few days visiting the sights of Melbourne, including; Old Melbourne Gaol, Melbourne Zoo, ScienceWorks & Planetarium and Melbourne Aquarium. I made sure he was armed with crisps and sweets to share amongst his friends, and I bought him a disposable camera this morning so he could take lots of photos. He comes home on Friday afternoon.
HOUSE UPDATE...
For those of you who don't know, we had our driveway concreted two weekends ago. It looks SOOOO much better than before ! An hour after it was finished the neighbour's dogs got out and ran all over it. We are still waiting for the concreters to come back and tell us what he can do to fix it, and he also has to re-seal it with black sealer because since drying it has faded to a dark grey (certainly not the black that we asked for).
Last night we were able to use our new shower for the first time , and it is FANTASTIC ! It's so roomy compared to the old one, and CLEAN (no amount of scrubbing would clean the old manky one properly). The old shower has been partially dismantled, and we are now busily searching for sinks and vanity units.
