Well, although he doesn't have it every day anymore, Kade's colic is starting to wear me thin. He is on the 3rd brand of formula and we use anti-colic teats, but it still takes him 4 hours to get rid of all his burps. Add to that that he also mild reflux and you can see why we're fed up. Thankfully, he doesn't sick-up much, but it is after every feed and we always have to have a cloth handy for cleanups (I really envy parents who can feed their babies without so much as a bib to catch dribbles !). I spoke to the health centre nurse yesterday and she suggested we take Kade to a chiropractor. Ordinarily, thickening his formula would help with the reflux, but we can't do that because of the colic -- viscious cycle. She said if his back or neck is out of alignment it could be causing the colic, so we'll give it a try. I have him booked in for Monday afternoon.
On a brighter note, he is sleeping really well at night, and other than the colic & reflux is a happy smiley baby.

RIP to my Grandpa, who was taken from us 2 years ago today. I miss you.
