Rye Beach Sand Sculptures

Yesterday afternoon Elliot and I went to Rye beach (about 45 minutes up the Peninsula from our house) to see the sand sculptures. The sculptures are made by local and international artists, and are on display for a couple of months.

Below are some pics from our day trip. Click on each one to open it in a new window for a better view.

Rye Beach castles are very popular, that's for sure!

Your pregnant self is in full bloom! Hooray for the mystery and magic of the Sacred Feminine!

As for the whole whale thing ... I have never known what it is to feel like a whale. I feel more like an otter or a fish most days.
