Do I expect too much ??

Elliot and I had a lovely day together recently. He has been working 7-days a week for so long that we decided to spend his first day off together.

We had a sleep-in, then packed a picnic lunch and went for a drive into the Dandenong Ranges. We spent a couple of hours browsing in all the little shops in Olinda, then set off to find somewhere to have our picnic.

We found a great spot with a little picnic table and a fantastic view :

And along with two magpies and a crow who were scavenging for foodscraps, I think I had some pretty good company :

So it's no surprise that I would have wanted to get a nice picture of the two of us together, is it ? Well...apparently it was, because it seems that Elliot had other ideas and decided to pull a face :

So to our parents...you now know WHY we never send you any nice pictures of us -- BECAUSE THERE AREN'T ANY !! hehehe
