We got home this afternoon and found a pizza box on the doorstep. Initially I thought it was my monthly scrapbook kit (because thats what they are sent in to keep the 12"x12" paper nice and flat), but as I picked it up I saw that it was from Express Publications, and was addressed to Toby.Ever-suspicious, he asked me what I had entered him into without his consent (little toad). I told him that I hadn't entered him into anything without his knowledge or consent thank-you-very-much ! The only thing he had entered was a competition that he didn't even want to enter, but I nagged him until he did hehe.
It turns out that he won one of the 9 prizes worth $68.50 !! He won a 8" Friendship album, book of 8" Friendship themed papers, and book of 8" Friendship themed cardstock (see pic).
The comp was in the same issue of the magazine that I was published in, which was pretty ironic. To enter, you had to say in 25 words or less which of the new 8" HOTP themes suits your scrapbook style and why. Mum and I both entered as well, but we didn't win anything. Toby wrote that the 'kids' theme suits him the best because he is 10 years old and most of his photos are of him and his friends.
Unfortuately, its not a very good picture of him with his prize but he kept making faces, moving, and laughing like a loony so this is the best pic I could get.
He says he won't use the stuff coz its too girly, but he'll sell it to me for $70 -- little bugger.
