This is our first post, and we are still learning how to 'drive' this program (so please forgive any hiccups). We hope to add photos and news regularly to keep you all informed of what's going on with us.

Well....we've just celebrated Easter, and we were all thankful for the few days break from work/school. Elliot is currently working 6 days a week so for him to have 4 days off in a row was quite a treat ! The Easter Bunny stopped coming this year (much to Toby's disappointment), but we all received enough chocolate eggs to keep us going for a while.
On Easter Saturday Elliot raced (as co-driver) with his mate Adam at Nyora Speedway. They were racing in the Independant Saloon category and were driving a Cortina. In the first race they were coming first until the last lap when another car bumped them off the track. In the second race they busted an axle, which they fixed in time for the third race. In the third race they did the diff, which put them out of the finals. It was a good day/night and I am sure that Elliot will go again if Adam asks him to.
My scrapbooking room is coming along nicely. I was sick of digging thought bags and boxes on the floor to find what I wanted, so we purchased some new furniture to store all my bits-and-pieces and tidy everything up. I haven't taken any photos yet, but once we have, we'll post pics. I haven't done much scrapping lately, though last night I made some cards, and for Easter I made Elliot a tag to go with his egg. I think it turned out well and I am quite proud of it. The Pooh bear is made from 12 separate pieces of cardstock (plus the little eggs in the basket) - all glued together to make the final product.
Elliot has been working on his Capri during every spare moment he has. It has been bead-blasted and primed. He has some pics so I'll get a link to them and post them as soon as I can.
We've not done much to the house lately, but this weekend Elliot and I have set aside Sunday to get in and finish the grouting in the new shower. Again, once we have pics I'll post them for you all to see.
